BCMMedia on Keeping the Proper Perspective
Looking Back on 2024
In the hustle of daily operations, it’s easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. This is especially true in the advertising and marketing world, where every detail can be analyzed, tracked, and optimized. There’s always another call to make, email to send, or strategy to refine.
As Thanksgiving approaches, however, it’s a good time for all of us to step back and reflect on what truly matters. Recent events, like the hurricanes that devastated Florida and other southern states, have reminded us of life’s larger perspective.
Reflecting on Hurricane Milton
Hurricane Milton, which made landfall on October 10, was among the most destructive storms in Florida’s history. Initially a Category 5 hurricane, it struck as a Category 3, wreaking havoc across the state. Tornadoes compounded the devastation, leaving at least 35 people dead and causing over $85 billion in damages.
Our community felt the storm’s impact deeply. While BCM Media’s office and homes remained largely intact, many neighbors were less fortunate. Uprooted trees crushed cars, roofs were destroyed, and some homes were torn from their foundations. Prolonged power outages tested resilience, though a generator and our office space allowed us to maintain client communication throughout the crisis.
Gratitude and Thanksgiving
This Thanksgiving, we’re pausing to appreciate what matters most: our families, our community, and the opportunities we’ve had to rebuild and grow. At BCM Media, we’re grateful for the trust our clients place in us and the team that makes our work possible.
While we remain committed to delivering our best, we also recognize the importance of reflection and gratitude. Thanksgiving serves as a reminder to celebrate our blessings, honor our successes, and cherish each day, which is never guaranteed.
From all of us at BCM Media, we wish you a meaningful Thanksgiving filled with gratitude and joy!
